President's Perspective

President
FPRA Ocala Chapter
One of my favorite books is the “7 Habits of Highly Effective People” by Stephen Covey. Covey speaks to the concept of integrity frequently throughout his book. Integrity is defined as “concept of consistency of actions, values, methods, measures, principles, expectations, and outcomes.”
I personally like to think of integrity as doing what you say you are going to do, when you say you are going to do.
In the spirit of integrity, I wanted to share a status update with the membership as it relates to some of the chapter goals your board decided on at the beginning of the year.

- We are currently at 60 professional members and one student member. Know someone interested in joining? Please reach out to our membership chairs, Katie Hunnicutt or Lisa Varner, APR, CPRC so they can reach out!

We have been working hard as a membership to do what we said we would do but there are still opportunities for growth. I encourage you to reflect on your own personal goals and see if your goals coincide with the chapter goals for the remainder of the chapter year and what you can do to take action to accomplish those goals. As always, please reach out to me if you would like to discuss any of these ideas in more depth.
With Gratitude,
Lauren
