We added a new chapter member this month. Communicator of the Year nominations were numerous. Our Leadership mixer was well attended. Image Awards winners have been contacted. Our last monthly meeting was packed and our own Ginger Broslat, APR, CPRC, did an outstanding job with her presentation!
Each month I’m proud of the work being done to bring quality professional development to our members. Serving as president of the Ocala chapter hasn’t been as much work as it’s been a blessing. Working with chapter leaders has sharpened my skills and forged stronger professional relationships. Who wouldn’t want in on this action?
I’m always humbled by this opportunity when I consider the strong presidents who have served our chapter. What an honor it is be among this group of professionals! Right now, you can answer the call to be a chapter leader by completing the leadership interest survey that was recently emailed to you. I encourage to you act in BOLD PR fashion with your reply! I promise you will not regret FPRA service.
In the meantime, don’t forget to RSVP for this month’s luncheon with award-winning storyteller Jessica McCune and buy your tickets for the Local Image and Communicator of the Year Awards celebration on April 26th.
