Attend our July professional development meeting with Ginger Broslat, APR, CPRC for “Cross-functional Communications: Speaking the languages of stakeholders to improve business results.” meeting at the College of Central Florida; Ewers Century Center Strategic Planning Center (Building 40, Room 101)
Reflecting on a communications career that spans more than 35 years, Ginger Broslat has learned one critical lesson – linguistics is key to success. Each project presents an opportunity to learn the languages of internal team members and external audiences. While English may be spoken, individuals bring their own perspectives, goals and idioms that create a matrix of unique languages in need of an interpreter. The most successful communications professionals learn the first step of working with teams is to delve into the linguistics and guide objectives and the execution of tactics to achieve goals critical to the success of business strategies.
Hot buffet lunch will be served starting at 11:30 a.m., Leadership ice-breaker starts at 11:45 a.m., and the one-hour program begins promptly at noon.
