There is a lot going on in our lives, isn’t there? That is why I would like to take an opportunity to talk about the importance of focus this month. To focus means to “pay particular attention to.” There are many things your board is paying particular attention to this month for you, members of the Ocala Chapter of FPRA. The first would be the PRospecting for Gold and 2019 Wilton F. Martin Communicator of the Year Awards ceremony being held on April 17 at the Ocala Downtown Market. Make sure you get your tickets today if you have not done so already!
The second area of extreme focus is being geared toward the 2019 FPRA Regional Summit being held on May 2. This exciting professional development event will feature a jam-packed day of dynamic public relations and communications professionals in the Central Florida area sharing their best practices and industry tips and tricks.
The committees and your board have been hard at work to make sure these events are a success. Please let me know if I can answer any questions for you about either event and I hope to see you at both!
