The Ocala Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association is once again ready to triage agencies in need of professional public relations counseling through its community service project, ER for PR. This service project will provide professional public relations counseling for a nonprofit organization seeking help with special events, strategic communications planning, media relations and other PR-related needs.
While no written plan of action will be provided by FPRA as a result of the counseling session, the organization selected will receive a free tool kit with helpful tips on writing news releases, media sources, promotions and other general resources.
Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 16. A committee of FPRA/Ocala chapter members will make the selection the week of May 19 and agencies will be notified soon afterwards. Selected organizations/projects will be introduced at the chapter’s annual Great Communicators recognition event in June.
